Halloween Costume Bar Crawl

Yesterday I held my first fundraising event for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and while I didn’t get the turnout I hoped for, it was still a great afternoon! I am so thankful for the friends that came and donated and the bars and restaurants who so nicely provided gift cards as best-costume-awards. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we raised $200 for LLS!

I think there’s a snail creeping behind us!

If you weren’t able to attend the bar crawl, no worries! There is still plenty of time to give and events to attend!

In other news, as Part 3 of the Tumbling Tuesday saga, I decided that my knee wasn’t healing like it should be and Eric nicely drove me to the CVS MinuteClinic so that I could see the Nurse Practitioner (I can’t drive with the boot). She confirmed my suspicion that my knee is infected and I’m now on antibiotics. Good thing I’ll be done with antibiotics in time for S&E’s wedding this weekend! I’m trying to stay positive and up-beat, but I am quite a mess. Fingers crossed that I can get through the next few days without any more disasters!
